Hideko Simpson North London Homoeopath

Homoeopathy & Herbalism
Hideko Simpson B.Ed DSHom
The first time I used homoeopathy was when my son was born. His birth was very difficult and I was in such pain that I was unable to walk. It was a friend who recommended that I see a homoeopath.
I knew nothing about homoeopathy. The homoeopath to whom I was recommended lived in Japan, so I had an online remote session. She sent me the remedies as soon as possible, but it took two weeks for them to arrive, and as my body had started to heal itself slowly, I unfortunately was unable to feel any clear effect from her treatment,
However, the same homoeopath paid a visit to London soon afterwards and coincidently I had mastitis at the same time that she was here.
I met her and she prescribed remedies for mastitis. After three days, my mastitis had cleared up, the pain had faded away so naturally that I hadn't even noticed it.

The effectiveness of the treatment was so clear to me that, since then, I have had no doubts as to its potential.
I qualified as a homoeopath in 2017, and since then, have been treating people in person and remotely.
How I work
When I see patients for the first time I am interested in their physical symptoms, medical history and family medical history, and also in their general preferences regarding food, the weather, and way of life.
I like to find out about what upsets or delights them, what quality of sleep they get, and if they have any particular idiosyncrasies.
In this way I build up what homoeopaths call a ‘picture’, which helps me to base my prescription on my understanding of them as a whole person, not just a collection of physical symptoms.
